From some kind of tv show or documentary(?) coming on april 11th.

love these pictures with the cat I'm especially fond of orange cats ive had two of them. but I just don't know who's going to take care of her two chinchillas cat and 150 lb Akita dog? can you imagine her grandmother having to walk that dog and then having to keep up after the dog in a small apartment? I sure hope Alina rents a house with a yard near Sambo 70 so the big dog has room to get exrcise and you know do what dogs do alot of.

it's amazing to see Alina so happy sure hope she's enjoying her off season and gets to go to her hometown soon for rest and relaxation and maybe watch her little sister skate at the rink and with the coach she used to have.

It's random akita, her Masaru will arive to Russia in May so it must be a little puppy (there are no other reasons for such big delay).

What a nice video - I have always thought that you can really tell a lot about a person by how they relate to animals. She has the magic touch.

This is my first post on this site so hello everyone.

Anyway, in that interview/show just released she was asked by that old Japanese pervert (sorry I have to say that but it’s true) what is her dream man. She answered (after making bewildered face) that she did not think about it and it is very strange question. So this is second time in as many interviews old guys are asking her same question. Interesting.

She’s like an idol for them now. Look at their reactions, it is almost like they worship her.

First time poster here too, joined up so I can follow this thread. Love Alina. So Hello everyone :yay:

Alina is not only an awesome skater but she is great at interviews too (hey I remember being 15 and would barely talk to my relatives at parties, can't imagine being alone at a studio and answering a bunch of questions on TV - some quite uncomfortable for sure). I'm really enjoying all the stuff from Japan, so great to have many news and TV clips to enjoy in the off season.

Looking forward to her next TV appearances, which seem to be: April 6th - Stars on Ice Yokohama live broadcast on TBS2, April 11th some TBS Japan program in the Afternoon, Some Saturday at 7pm the game show program with Javi and Kaetlyn I think this is on TBS too, and April 14th Stars on Ice broadcast (not sure if it is a special of both shows, the Osaka show or rerun of the Yokohama one) think this is on TBS.

If anyone knows the channels for sure (whether they are on TBS main channel, TBS1 or TBS2 or something else), knows the actual time and name of TV shows or knows of any more TV appearances please feel free to add to this. It is perfectly doable to watch it online, and maybe some kind soul will post the shows or some clips later on.

Even not understanding anything that anyone was saying, her happiness was contagious. Maseru will be a very happy dog.

Just found this video of Alina's training. I'm so happy to see her so accurate and powerfull, her jumps look perfect to me. And after such a hard season she is still in best shape :love:

I love the way the Japanese media is celebrating her and showering her with positive attention! Bonus points for bringing the Akita!

But enough with the stuffed animals gifts. They have seen where she lives. The last thing she needs is more stuffed animals! Her fans will give her plenty! Although she seemed to appreciate it and it was nice to hear her respond with - arigato.

Also, the question of boys has been asked and answered. It's pretty clear her 'dream man' is an Akita!

It almost looked (to me) like the media was trying to 'ship' her with Shoma during their joint interview with the matching Akita t-shirts. :scratch3: Shoma was clearly having none it, and Alina was just being her adorable self. You tried it, Japanese media, time to let it go.
