• Qualification of Participation: 1) Registered skaters with above KSU skating Level 5. 2) Skaters over age limits: born before 2004. 07. 01

• Segments:
  1) Senior Men/Ladies (KSU skating Level 7-8, regardless of their age)
  2) Junior Men/Ladies (KSU skating Level 5-6, regardless of their age)
  3) Senior/Junior Pairs (Skaters who meet ISU senior/junior pairs ages)
  4) Senior/Junior Ice dances (Skaters who meet ISU senior/junior ice dances ages)

• Freecuts: 24, if categories have 48 skaters or less than.
  30, if categories have skaters more than 48.

• Entry deadlines: 15th December, 2016

• About Selections: Using this competition(Nationals)'s results, skaters will be selected to compete at 1) 2017 Jr. Worlds and 2) 2017 Sr. Worlds.
  Skaters should meet each competition's age limits and minimum TES before this competition's entry deadlines, and following numbers will be selected.
  
  1) 2017 Junior Worlds: 2 Men, 2 Ladies, 1 Pairs, 1 Ice dance.
  2) 2017 Senior Worlds: 1 Man, 1 Lady, 1 Pairs, 1 Ice dance.

In today`s Korean sports main news, So youn interviewed that she hurt her ankle during practicing steps, and got ankle surgery recently. She said that she will skip Nationals and Universiade, but no refer on 4CC. (but it`s most possible to SY skip 4CC too..) There will be 6-8 weeks to be needed for rehab...:sad21: She said that she will use this to opportunity to prepare 2018 PC.

But she definitely will miss ticket for Helsinki, cuz Nationals is the competition which will select skaters to represent at Worlds. KSU will do not make exception this case.

And I wonder she can hop into National team or not next season, thinking of KSU system (Ranking competition+Nationals=pick national team). But there is exception clause in here, so maybe she can be rescued.

Yes, it is okay! Well, I'm reading the rules on the first post. They might be required to complete at the level they qualify for at nationals.
You Young is only 12 and she was the 2016 national champion at senior level!

Actually, it's level 7-8 for seniors and level 5-6 for juniors. Also they implemented a minor age limit starting from this year.

To compete at the Korean nationals, one should be at least eligible for junior internationally for next season. Therefore, 12 would be the minimum for both junior and senior segments.
