I see in her the next Yu-Na (emotional thought if my Goddess retires after 2010) And we all will have to learn the spelling of her surname :think:Tuktamesheva's new SP

I was really impressed watching this:What incredible potential she has!
I was really impressed watching this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBCYYSGvWD0 Do you know it already? Obviously, since she's only 13 (and 12 in that FS), she has not a particular style yet, anyway she's already dramatic and powerful in a "russian" way. I must say I would be glad if she becomes lyrical and soft rather than "russian". But it's a matter of taste.

Super starlet! Nice to see Russia bringing up some potential ladies. Her movements are quick and with the music. My only drawback is that those arms are too busy and they take away from the feet. What is she entered in internationally this year? Juniors or Seniors? What incredible potential she has!
Thank you for posting the link, Meli_Huber.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q2bsJU0-2UoI found this on Youtube. It looks like his new SP.

It looks though that Andrei still spends more time watching Zhenya Plushenko's old tapes than working with Tom Dickson on a new choreo. IMHO.
I don't know who's choreod that program. Just shared my personal observations with the rest.So that program is choreographed by Tom Dickson?
Poor Lutai - Dickson has done nothing to break that Russian habit of Jumps and Flapping Arms. Of course that old warhorse music demands such treatment. It kind of reinforces my belief that all Russian male skaters skate the same way.So that program is choreographed by Tom Dickson? I'm less impressed. Maybe it looks better live, but just watch it from my computer, he seems to be SO slow and both of the step sequences are kinda broken, there's little flow between the elements.
That is a nice move on her part. Those who speak various tongues, have more friends. IMHO.Alena Leonova says a few words about her new programs: http://en.alena-leonova.ru/news/2009-07-06-4
This is the newly-opened English page of her officaial website.

They don't have a Chipeur and Chan; a Weir and Lysacek; a Preaubert and Joubert; a Verner and Brezina or a Kozuka and a Takahashi. All Russian Men seem to skate in the same style. Sell those jumps and flap those arms. No?
So, there is Plushenko and WHO?
Very surprised Dickson is carrying on in that tradition.
Sascha Abt! (is not one I mean to say...)I disagree with your assessment of Russian male skaters. Ilia Klimkin, Ilia Kulik, Alexei Yagudin, Alexei Urmanov (just to name a few) are hardly prolific arm flappers.
