Ashley medals at the GPF 3 years in a rowWill people now finally stop calling her old, or the epitome of the decline of American figure skating?
*Happy fan*
Elizaveta and Elena are also my favorites among the pack of Russian ladies - even if I sometimes think their style is weird. Great podium.
Ashely actually left some points of the table even as great as that skate was - level 2 spin, level 3 spin. So she can definitely break 130 with a perfect all level 4 spins/level 3 step skate.![]()
No you're not. I already had a vision of Yulia being in a commanding 1st place in the SP at Worlds, then having an earth-shattering fall at the very opening of her FS. Then Anna Pogorilaya (yes the two of them somehow make it on the Russian Worlds team) sneaks ahead of her. And at the victory ceremony, Yulia steps up to the podium as her tragic, sombre R&J plays, thinking "my fancy upgraded Moscow apartment that I could've earned... My 3-3...."
Then Pogo steps up in triumph and accepts her gold medal as that one part of Firebird plays. The end.

Anna started off so artistically fine and then after her fall, the artistry was lost. She failed to hold her moves and missed the accents of the music. Everything was so rushed and unpolished. She might have scored much better in her components if she had held the artistic side together despite the technical mistakes. She looked so distraught after her performance and her coach too!
True. She's not that special (only to me). What I mean is, I love that she's doing it, but what she's doing I won't remember. But I LOVE her comeback.True.
Definitely not, is what I would guess. Sotnikova, Tuktamysheva, Radionova are too strong.
LOL, I agree but at the same time disagree!![]()
I agree! Everyone was speculating whether she wouldn't end up last.
