2014 Olympics Ladies Short Program

I like Akiko, but that music is just... not fun to skate. She could have done much more spectacular short to a better piece...

Ashley’s group. Chemistry66 I’m gonna need puppies, kittens, baby polar bears & elephants, sunsets over lakes, pretty woodlands …

[And curse you, illegal feeds for not showing it and/ or being virus central.]

I think if I was Zijun's coach, I'd be making an inquiry about that. Something doesn't seem right about that score.

Robin Cousins on BBC pointed out Li's underrotation on the second triple in the combination and wrong edge take off on the second jump even before the scores were out.

Gracie was given the I am the reigning American champ bonus marks. There is no way she should have a score close to her SB score with that skate. Her 3/3 even received +GOE! And her 2A only got a -.21. Any other skater having the same kind of issues would not receive the same kind of score.

Zijun also got edge calling the lutz. Really people need to get a clue and stop predicting scores with their emotions.

Gracie was definitely overscored a little. Seems like the U.S. and Russian judging blocks are in fact teaming up.

Kanako! What have you done? I can only see one good aspect in this. She cannot retire now (at least I hope so) Also crushed for Akiko and happy for Yuna, who looked so nervous. Now the pressure on Mao increased and this is never good.

After 2 periods...
1. Yuna
2. Gracie
3. Polina
4. Akiko
5. Natalie
