I don't know what it is and I can't quite put my finger on it, but, I just don't enjoy Kevin's skating. It's impressive that he can make the quads look so light but he just doesn't do anything for me. His spins are much slower particularly in open positions like the camel. I guess he doesn't seem to really feel the music or make an effort to connect with the audience or the performance for that matter. Maybe if he gained some healthy weight it would help to make him look more manly maybe, I don't know. I hope he takes the next four years to prove me wrong but until then, I just can't get behind him. That said, i'm always happy to see skaters do well and in my book, that was a pretty decent skate.
