I feel badly for both Hanyu and Chan. They are both truly great skaters, but today was not their day.

The pressure just got to everyone. Hanyu left that door WIDE open and I thought Patrick had it in the bag after he finished his first quad. Idk how he managed to rack up so many mistakes after.

I honestly have SO MUCH MORE admiration for Yuna Kim pulling off 2 cleans with the Olympics pressure. Idk how she did it.

I wish Plushenko had been able to skate, be his usual consistent self and win gold. It would've been a much better story than what we got, even though a lot of y'all seemed to be dreading it.

while both chan and hanyu were surely far from their best, they both were the only ones to bring it in the short, and in the free, while they were not the better, they still did better that practicaly every other skater apart from ten(that did have a much easier program)

Honestly , as Hanyu fan, Yuzuru also bomb almost as bad.
