He's old hat at it at this point. He's probably very good at compartmentalizing and focusing on the student in front of him at that moment.

Well...Considering Machida just kinda did the same thing that he did to Chan (land jumps better, get ridiculous PCS as a result), it's no surprise he is nervous.

I thought Onishi was the jump coach and Liu was for overall refinement and mental training.

I think he learned to stable the quad after he went to Liu. He became a complete skater techniquely and mentally under Liu's wings. And then he dumped Liu like a hot potato.

Totally. Machida deserved that score and Kozukas PCS should have been about 4-5 points higher, imho. I don't see Japanese inflation here, yet.
