Presentation felt very half-assed considering how much this music gives to work with but overall it could have been worse, I guess.

Weird experience. There were parts where I was impressed by her expression and the music woke me up. And there were other parts that put me right back to sleep.

It's my first time posting here and I just have to say... I love love love Die Fledermaus Overture as program music.

Welcome! :)
It is a lovely music, but it is not for everyone. It can easily overpower the skater. Davis/White and Akiko Suzuki did wonders with it recently though

Ugh... Nathalie! The audience was so behind you to perform well! Very entertaining music though the performance was subpar. She needs it to gel over more to sell it better, but it has potential.

At least the 3Lz was a mental thing since she landed the second one late in the program with a combo.

Well that wasn't as bad as most of what we've seen. At least parts were fun.

I remamber Ntahalie from last year's Europeans. She skated more or less clean performance there, but had no transiotions and no connection to the music. Now, she tries to show the music, contact with the audience - and she maintains speed pretty well.

She had back problems. I thought she'd perform better. Last year she was quite OK. (She's m alt. in perdictions - not the best choice as I see, now. I should predict less with national bias )

Who started this whole Nino Rota R&J obsession?

First skater I can recall is Sasha Cohen, but it wasn't her was it?
