I mean early days yet for others to not really get them. I like them. Considering that they've been skating together for such a short time and apparently she may be a bit banged up, I really like them. I see something in them especially her. Practicing in Zhulin's group now should be all kinds of intense.
Oh, there is a mix up here I was initially talking about Z/G. S/K should be displeased with their overall progress. But part of that is because they were too ambitious from the get go.

It`s going to be interesting how S/K will develop. I read in an interview that was posted here that Marina still hopes that they will be nominated to the Euros and Worlds team. If B/S are ready, I don`t think how that is even possible since #1 and #2 are guaranteed their spots on the team and the Russian Fed wouldn`t let B/S stay home, so a couple who didn`t even reach the national podium gains competition practice.
I think this 4th place is a blessing in disguise. I remember when Weaver/Poje didn`t qualify for the Olympic Team in 2010, when they came back one year later, they were a whole other team, maybe this is also possible for S/K. Although, you have to consider that Krylova is a much stronger technical coach than Zueva.

And what do you think about the current Cappellini/Lannotte's FD? In a version they skated in China. Death and his Bride
I can see him doing that role, much better than Luca. I'm not sure about her though, because she still has to fight against the death who wants to take her. Who knows though, maybe she can. Maybe she's not all that smiling, pretty face, blue eyes, that Marina wants us to see in her. I actually think she was much better as Norma.

That "constant" disaster was the highest ranked Russian ice dance team in Sochi and won the OBM and an OGM - who gives a crap about a Euro title compared to that.
Although I can understand why you're still a hater since you said the worst crap about them all season leading up to Sochi and then they shut your mouth...
you said they should retire and split up and then they go and win two Olympic medals. I would have given anything to see the bitter look on your face as it all happened.

I found S/Z's Norma quite boring, but yeah, this part suits her much better. In Marina's Danse Macabre girl doesn't have to do a lot - it seems to me that she planned to show Luca and hide Anna (it doesn't work at all IMO, Anna is just too vivid and expressive) - girl is the weaker part, quite submissive. She is to fight, but he's obviously dominant. I'd like to see them trying it

You have a point about Anna there. I agree, and I don't think Luca is quite there.
I don't like Norma either but yeah, I meant as a partthat she could do it . She did quite well, but she was presented by Ruslan aslo. Nikita simply has to learn that.

Agreed. Top 3 should go to Euros and Worlds. S/K can have their chance next year. It was very apparent that I/Z and M/K are top 2 and with S/B having solid performances they deserve the opportunities to do Euros and Worlds. It's evident that S/K simply don't achieve sufficient difficulty.
Because now its obvious all the problems and drama for I/k were Nikita's fault. It wasn't a lazy zhulin or emotional crying diva illynkh. It was all him. She's now russian champion which I/k never were. She is now with rusian in gpf first season while s/k come in last in free dances. She was propping him up. Now all I/k problems are s/k problems and I/z are possibly world medalists soon which I/k never were. 4 years of thinking the wrong things. It's now revealed as al Nikita's fault. All the problems of I/k. Now I is free of her prison formed by Nikita!

How would you characterize NHK 2013, worlds 2013, worlds 2014, Russian Nats 2011, cup of Russia 2010, worlds 2011, NHK 2011, etc etc
