Ok. One of those 'ready to give up on the sport' moments. How the hell does Gracie score so close to Ashley with a DISASTROUS performance and Ashley with a near-flawless one?

Because Ashley was very underscored. She should have passed 130 with that skate. I wonder how she feels when she sees the girls get 130+ easily.

But Liza Such a queen, we're not worthy. That 3A was so easy that at first I groaned because I thought she had done just a 2A

Point wise, including the 3A instead of the solo 3Lz does not get Liza that big of an advantage.
BUT I think she used this competition solely for the purpose of trying the 3A in the long. Her current layout is not very point efficient since it contains just one 3Lz (her money jump). Not to mention the risk of Zayak since she tries the axel jump 3 times.
By next season her layout will most likely be different. She has so many possibilities, she can bring back her monstruos 2A-3T for example

Before everybody hates on Gracie (oh wait too late for that), she messed up the opening combo. Yeah, and that sucks. But she didn't let it ruin her performance and the rest of her jumping passes a la 4CC. I think it's a step in the right direction for a skater who is known as a headcase.

Many lovely performances from the ladies tonight! It was worth staying up for!

Yeah I wonder how she feels too. She would have had every right to seriously frown at her own score and Gracie's. Yes she goes home with a 'gold medal'. I don't know about her but I've got a really wry feeling about this.

Yes her FS was not the best, and very dissapointing, but without her, team USA might not be in first because she did lead the short over Liza... But wow, Russia lost by 1 point, 1 POINT!!!

I don't understand her PCS scores, I think she has nice flow and speed...just me? She may not have the biggest jumps, but she has great upper body control and elegant lines and arms
