Since these are free skates, there's a possibility that one or two of them won't make it through. However there's still a very real possibility that we'll have more than one POTO in the final flight, maybe even back-to-back

If Joshua does well and Adam bombs again he will probably be picked for World Team Trophy so that would be Schindler's List last outing hopefully.

That wouldn't need Adam to bomb, IMO. Josh does well at worlds - he'll likely have the opportunity to go to WTT.

There is actually a selection criteria in place. In short the top two from the GP series (Jason and Richard, possibly Max Aaron) and the top two at worlds qualify. So Josh would need to do better than at least one of the other USA guys to qualify. The official doc can be found here if you are interested.

I believe that you are misinterpreting the WTT announcement. The same issue came up in the Jeremy Abbott thread.

The essence of what I said there:

Countries qualify for WTT based on points earned by the top two skaters in GPs and top two at Worlds.
BUT ... I don't think those skaters are the only ones eligible to compete at WTT.

Additionally to what golden just wrote, and what I actually thought off regarding this: if Josh skates well, I think he'll be top 2 among the american men.

For some reason I cannot find a result for Stephane Walker (even if he competed at Europeans) or for Nan Song (although he likely did not compete at an ISU event). If aanyone knows their best results this season, please let us know.

Stephane Walker got a total score of 173.65 also at Universiade. Although he competed at Euros, he didn't make the FS so there's no total score for him for that event

Sorry to be a party pooper, but I need to point out: Scores tend to rise as the season progresses. Javi's SB came from CoR; Josh's came from 4CC.

Now, do I think Josh deserves to beat CoR-Javi with a quad in the SP/cleaner quad in the LP? Absolutely (I like them both, btw). But would the judges put 4CC-Josh within five points of CoR-Javi, skated at the same event? That I doubt...

(That said, I too have suggested that Josh could be fighting for medals at Worlds. I just think it'll take a worse showing than CoR from Javi... which could very well happen. :hopelessness
