And S/B's SB was reached at a junior competition...

Looks like there will be a bit of a battle to get established as Canada's #2 pair.

Best of luck to Yuko & Sasha. I hope they skate their best in Shanghai, their programme definitely deserves a worlds gold medal, but it won't be easy.

The SB scores make interesting reading. I was surprised to see S/B (who had a great skate in JWC) ahead of I/M. I would have thought that T/M would have been higher than 11th, surprised to see them behind A/R and H/D. I didn't realise that S/K (USA) had posted such a big score.

Interesting that S/B's SB is above I/M. I expected I/M to have no trouble beating them here, that makes it more interesting.

I really think S/B will turn some heads in Shanghai. They were superb at Junior Worlds. I/M have great qualities too, but her jumps make me nervous. I think S/B will be the 2nd highest Canadian pair.

S/B are a bit more polished but their highest score was at Junior Worlds, which was after Nationals and 4CC so they had more time to work their Jr Worlds performance and polish than I/M did for 4CC. I suspect the placements will be close here though

Feel the same way about those two pairs plus Lubov and Dylan. Just want them all to go out and kill it and not worry about the scores.

I would not be surprised to see them in the running for World medals a couple years from now. The potential (and consistency!) is outrageous.
