Eek. Barely over 50% of them can qualify (52.17% to be exact) wow.

I wonder how many more there'd be if the tech minimums didn't exist and countries who didn't qualify multiple skaters could send one.

Well, 2 of the skaters I always cheer for (even though they are not the best in the world) would be there:

Polina Ustinova (Cyprus)
Alexandra de Hanovre (Monaco)

But, given the size of the entry as it is, I am glad the ISU have something to try to keep it down.

You know, seeing what happened, I'm glad Danni opted to go to Junior Worlds rather than Senior Worlds. Because it would have been even more upsetting for her to have a disappointing skate on the bigger stage.

But, I do worry for the girl that is being sent to Senior Worlds. Because she is younger than Danni, and doesn't have as good a record as her.

Oh, how I wish Zoe Jones had done some International competitions as soon as she made her comeback. At least then she would have had some scores on the board to be eligible in time for Boston!

And her reaction to the scores was so cute too! She was about to burst into tears of joy, and then remembered there was a TV camera pointing at her, and instead burst into a massive smile!

I'm trying to remember. During the Junior GP's, I was disappointed with all the Swiss girls that we saw... except one. And I have a feeling that Shaline was the one that I liked, but I can't remember for sure.

But, I will definitely be cheering for Charlotte van der Sarren. Come on, she's coached by Kevin and Jenna! So she's the nearest I'm going to get to local interest in this competition!
