Vivian's ability to smile and retain enthusiasm through a bad performance is one of her best qualities. Really admirable.

I almost got less nervous after the fall. It's like I knew it was coming...:no:

Vivian almost has to much power going into her jumps. Sort of like Courtney Hicks and Kaetlyn Osmond she needs to set up her jumps better. Her coaches need to reign her in a bit. The talent is there.

Wow. Lovely skate by Emily. Definitely one of my favorite junior skaters now that I've seen her perform. She has so much grace and control, and it's fun to watch someone really be invested in her performance emotionally too.

I enjoy both Vivian and Emily for different reasons, but Emily was top notch for me tonight even without a Lutz or a 3-3. She's come a long way since last year. I'm hoping we'll see a lutz from her soon. I agree with the rest of you that she kept the performance going throughout.

I'd love Jr. Worlds to be Emily and Vivian. but I could see one of them being displaced for Karen Chen if Karen doesn't finish in the top 3 and get on the World Team.

Well....even when the technical content isn't there, is it just me or do US juniors have some pretty decent SS in comparison to some senior ladies?

Emily's SS is top notch. She really glides on the ice. Vivian has the speed.

Emily's sort of like Jason Brown. She doesn't have the hardest tech content, but she can rack up the points on the non-jump elements...I wasn't surprised she got 114 at all.
