Alina's skating skills are not that great and she is on the slower side. But having watched her skate live, I would say that she has great ice presence despite being a petite girl. She won Junior Worlds deservedly.
Absolutely. She lacks the softness of Marin and Anastasia but she is much ahead in tech. And it's not only about the difficulty. The quality of her jumps and spins is higher than Marin's. It would be a scandal if she lost JWC to Marin with the skates that she had.
Pcs is subjective in many aspects. But I enjoyed Alina's programs much more than Marin's - rewatched DQ zillions of times.
At the same time, once again, both Honda and Gubanova are terrific young skaters. I just mean that Zagitova's victories were fair and square on all accounts.
