I want Stasya Konstantinova to be at least second with +182 score to overcome Guliakova in race for 7th JGP spot.
Because she's such a lovely polite girl and some other evil skaters are harassing her. ;)

PS. if two years ago somebody had told me, that in two years there will be several same age or younger girls outperforming Gubanova and Nugumanova and they won't be getting two JGP spots(!), I would have thought he/she was nuts. Junior ladies fs is unpredictable stuff.

I'm not talking about ana im talking about you putting words into osmond4golds mouth that she/he did not say. She never said osmond was the best skater in the world. she/he said they she has potential. I am sure anna is capable of beating osmond shes an amazing skater, what im saying is that you keep undermining kaetlyn when she has proved time and time again that shes a worthy oppent of anna and the rest of the Russian ladies. "and next time invite your canadian friends" wow just how more condesecending and mean can you be? this is such a hate thread. possibly the worst on here.

Nobody denies the fact that Osmond is worthy opponent to any Russian top lady. But she represents Canada, that's why "Canadian road to Olympics" is a better thread to discuss her skating skills.
If you think this thread is worst on here - you are free to leave it.

It won't happen. Alena can skate only in Poland and Italy.

As another option, if Stasya will be clean, she can replace Sonya in Croatia. It means potentially 5/6 Russian skaters at JGPF. But I'll be sorry for Sonya.

Anyway, the most likely option excludes this possibility and opens the door for both skaters (Sonya and Alena). And judging by their results, the best one will go to Italy.

Why everybody just don't even consider Samudorova as a serious competitor ? I mean , I am not a fan of her but this...

Is more than competitive IMO
And I can see all the hype around this new girl Kostornaya . I indeed loved her especially for her spins , but I can see all the time in this thread that every time a new girl comes , you count off the others who may struggling a little bit or not. Don't you people understand the necessity of having girls in this sport who grow up so we can see more mature performances ?
It is like 1 fall for a russian girl and she is over. ( I laughed a lot when some did so for Med. Lol 😛 ). Do you have a life without any mistake or failures ? Seriously ...

It's not about skaters and their mistakes. It's about bets on the best, on those who can bring the big scores. Kostornaya definitely will do it. Even Panenkova got 119 points with -2 deductions, popped 3S in combo into the double, and fell on 3Lo. Her score could be around 128-130 points for the clean skate, even if she's slow.

I really like Sonya, but I'm not sure about her PCS, and she doesn't have 3-3 combo in the free program.

Wish they would've picked Mitrofanova, but I knew that that wouldn't happen....Or Kurakova, that would've been amazing
At least Valeriia got 3rd at the Cup Final last year. Who else would they pick, though? I'd rather see her than Sakhanovich

Yes, it seems that the ability to win is all that matters to some, no matter how clinical the skating (not saying it applies to Kostornaya, but some others...) and the rest can be thrown under the bus and forgotten. And what really gets me is that people here will be excessively kind to far more mediocre skaters from other countries but nitpick the Russians to death. Then they get all excited for the "Hunger Games" and "bloodbaths"...well, it shows you how much the individuals are valued.

Why no Kurakova? Why??? Or they're afraid that Kurakova will beat Radio? Shame on you rusfed

I will explain to you. Kurakova has a trainer, the former trainer of Radionova now. To Lena it will be very uncomfortable there. And Mikhaylova and Kurakova from CSKA, and the chief there the current trainer of Lena - Buyanova....

Exactly. This is just so what I meant.
The final painting touch is the fact that Radionova left Goncharenko and joined Buyanova only recently - this summer.

Hmm I know Mikhailova is announced for CoR but I kinda wished they had withdrawn Konstantinova from Juniors and shoved her in that CoR spot. Next year it will be only be more difficult for her to move up. Her PB from last season was not bad either, internationally 187 last year while Mikhailova got 182 domestically.
