Polina deserved WC more than Stasya.
The same with Nastya G (or even Nastya T / Dasha P.) they all ... deserved JWC more than Stasya.

if she sent to WC she wont score 160, in senior her PCS will be decent enough like in her CS. 30/31 in SP anp 63~65 in FP. If she goes to JWC though she wont break 60 in FP and probably only get 27-28 in SP so she need the TES to get better score

Why would anyone want Stasya to bomb in the first place? :whack:
She's the most kind and decent girl in Russian figure skating. Always friendly, nice to colleagues, interviewers and fans.
Never complaining about anything or anobody else but herself. Exciting, beautiful performer and tough but emotional girl.
Only evil person would look forward to Stasya's misfortune...

They are just being realistic, i suppose. I personally wish her all the success, but please, girl, move to the senior level already

So the Russian ladies are now in Japan to train before the Olympics? Did they have a deal with Japan to have their own rink in Japan?
Why wouldn't the current women's Olympic team go to worlds? Do they expect to replace Sotskova?
And Stasya still made mistakes here. I don't see why the federation would trust her.
I'd send Gubanova to worlds. She bet some strong competitors here. She's really a great talent, the federation needs to finally realise this.

I still stand by my claim that Dasha was robbed...
It’s not uncommon in the Olympic season for skaters to opt out of Worlds. Fatigue or money making opportunities like shows call. So with that in mind it’s entirely possible that one or more of the Russian ladies might need to be replaced.

Yes, Dasha was robbed, but she wasn't the only casualty in RusNats and JrNats. Dasha and both Nastyas deserves JrWorlds much more so than Ms Olympic First Substitute.
I think its unlikely.
I dont see Medvedeva missing Worlds unless she is injured.
For Zagitova, those are her first worlds, i think she will go there if she can.
Sotskova has a lot to prove, so she probably would go too.

as soon as a fur coat's overlord gives you a standing o, your opponents are doomed.

Now is definitely the time to enjoy this skate. 
I guess the trick was making the program even more difficult... Only Trusova has more base value out of Russian juniors this season.
Looking forward to the next season when she's actually had the time to recover and practice properly sooo much!
