Gmyers, but do any of the current female Russian ice dancers have good knee bend? Do any of them really know how to dance? The future of ice dance is squarely on the shoulders of their juniors coming up.

Not if the juniors transition to seniors is anything like the teams that have moved up over the past 4 years

You're forgetting Bétina has good knee bend Gmyers and bramweld ;)

If only she knew how to use that quality with the panache of say a Sara Hurtado or ultimately Elena Ilinykh. There is just a form that Russia prefers or a style a 6.0 style that they're just not able to let go of. If you don't fit that form nothing you do really matters. I mean how many crossovers can you fit into a program? Mercy.

Bobrova /Soloviev are not banned, Stolbova and Bukin are.

IOC won't tell why they are banned.

Valerie Fourneyron, who chairs the IOC panel which decides which Russians can compete, said that "Not being included on the invitation list does not necessarily mean that an athlete has been doped - it should not automatically cast doubt on their integrity". But "there may still be further enquires and further anti-doping procedures coming up against a number of those athletes who have not been included on the pool of athletes considered for invitation".

The International Olympic Committee (IOC) refuses to include Russian athletes in the list of invitees for the 2018 Olympic Games, as they appear in the base of the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory. This is reported with reference to the source reports "Soviet Sport".

"The main role was played by the electronic database of the Moscow Anti-Doping Laboratory, which was available to WADA in November 2017. It contains all the results of testing Russian athletes in the period from January 2012 to July 2015. Based on this information, the applications of Russian athletes for participation in Pyeongchang-2018 are rejected, "the report said.

Did you post this in the thread about Bukin and Ksenia being banned. That might be interesting info for that thread.

BTW..the first statement was a question but I have lost my question mark.
