Pairs is really an interesting discipline. You either have a really really good program or you end up with "another day at the practice rink" program where the program just looks like a practice workout: twist-> first side-by-side -> lift -> second side-by-side -> spins -> death spiral -> finish and you feel like noting has really happened.

OMG, can this event get any worse. Now people are just falling on the ice stumbling.

Seems like a case of the rich get richer, the poor get poorer. In the short program S/S and D/R and to a lesser extent J/C were scored pretty generously for a GP...but then everyone else was lowballed.

These two were absolutly rushing through their program. No breaks at all and many stupid small mistakes.

The bad DS and the fall were the result.

Woo- hoooo Haven and Brandon! I was screaming through that. So wonderful to see them come back. I love these two, :luv17: and my favorite thing is how she sells the lifts with her beautiful smiles!

Great fighters, and beautiful programs.

I meant Skate Canada the GP, not the federation. Not only the Canadians fell all over the place! It's like Skate Canada (GP) thinks it is Cup of China this year!
