I guess an announcer must have misled everyone and said it is Savary's first senior Nats??

Last year was his first senior Nats. He placed 13th.

Nathan what a skate - jaw dropping jumps. Skating with Patrick and competing with the big boys has even improved his pacing. He is no longer racing against the music but taking his time and is more stable. Bravo!

This kid is insane. I can't believe his performance improvement in just one year. This kid is not just about quads.

Great reminder--Nathan has ALWAYS had great performance ability. He just wasn't able to showcase it with injuries, adjustment to senior, focus on quads. So excited to see him bring it all back!

Um, all people on this planet are africans, what do you mean?

African American is how we refer to American citizens of African descent (also see: Asian Americans, Italian American, etc.). It's more formal/respectful than black in the US, even though black is fine to say. We don't have a lot of AA skaters in the US. Really, we don't have a lot of skaters who aren't white or Asian.

As soon as he finished I started to tear up because I remember when he was that SMALL! I loved his skating for so long. I can't believe how far he's come!
