Were the judges too generous towards S/K? I love their skating but this program feels dead to me and they had shaky landings on all of the jumping elements.

They were skating within a group who have lower skating level than them especially in speed.

No. Another German team DID compete, they just didn't make the LP. No matter what now Germany can only get 2 spots.
