Liubov & Dylan need to beat the French to get the Canadians 3 spots unless He Zhang and his partner have some problems next flight, which given how close the French are to Duhamel & Radford means probably beat D&R too.

In the usual course of events that would be true, but at this specific competition things are VERY dicey because of how many countries are earning multiple spots. 16 spots is max no matter what so if all 16 are taken by the teams who place higher, it's the USA's that will be cut since the ITA and the FRA teams are currently higher. This also depends on both Russia AND Canada earning 3 spots though. LOTS of moving pieces here, the situation is legitimately very complicated. Normal rules might not apply.

Thank you for reminding us...I fear we may see some very confused disappointed people come the end of this event.

S&K are going to pass the entire flight. Liubov & Dylan are going to have a hard time staying over the French and retaining 3 spots. What a disaester for them to not skate cleanly, they had a shot to be top Canadian pair at these worlds and to gain some major clout, and instead they could even be the odd team out on a 2 person team next year.

I know the lift positions are nothing new but I love looking at her and can do so all day. The shapes they create are lovely!

Ilyushechkina and Moscovitch are rough around the edges but enchanting, in spite of terrible music. Her flexibility is quite gorgeous and those throw jumps were huge.
