Edit: Phew 66 and change. They're not happy but at least they're through.

I don't think they were really in danger of not making the FS... they're much better than teams below them, even if their TES was the worst of the bunch so far.

So sad for them though... injuries suck. They showed such promise after winning Skate America -- to think they were 12 points ahead of T/M at that point... what a crazy season this has been.

Really rough SP for them, but they should be able to bounce back in the FS.

Can someone who saw them say exactly what happened to Denney/Frazier?

She fell on the throw but it actually wasn't super disruptive and they probably could have recovered from it, but then he took a hard fall on the SBS jump which she also URed. Wind was taken out of their sails a bit too and they didn't sell it like they can. It's unfortunate but with the level here their placement is correct.
