Takahashi had no quads, good 3A, some problems on other triples. And spins were out of ideal. But good skating skills.

Has anyone heard how Takahashi is looking?

After NHK/Legends on ice he announced he'd like to attempt a quad at Nationals, if possible.

There's footage of him working on 4S from earlier in the season, but his coach recently said he has dropped it in the meantime, because the jump wasn't working out for him. He has now proceeded to practicing 4T and 4F instead.

Wow! But I hope Daisuke plays it safe and just does what he is comfortable with. I would hate to see him get injured again...he is an amazing skater even without a single quad.
