This program was almost avant-garde and helped them get more recognition from the judges, including edging over P/B for the Euros podium that year. I'm glad that no one else copied them and use this piece.

I'm not loving the fact that Vika Vasilieva and Anya Shcherbakova have the same music for the free skate -- it will only do a Vika a disservice, I think

I take your point though. Sharing the exact same music can invoke extra criticism that others may not receive. To my earlier point...hearing the same music over and over can be a real downer too for the judges.

To be honest, I don’t think the song suits Alexa and Chris AT ALL. I hope they prove me wrong but so far, it seems like Vanessa and Morgan are going to win the battle of the Wicked Game

Still, Vanessa/Morgan's FS could be something special, taking their past programs like 'Earned It' or 'Let It Rain', they embody seduction and sensuality.

See, I think Alexa could sell it, but not Chris. You are right, as a duo, Vanessa/Morgan both ooze sensuality. Chris usually doesn't emote much, so this seems like a huge stretch. Even when they did Metallica, it was more about her selling it.

Wicked Game may become the Despacito of pairs, an unused song that almost turned into a compulsory dance piece where 3 of the 5 teams in a warm-up group ended up skating to it at the Olympics.

Oddly enough, the only version I can see Knierims pull off is the original

Maybe there will be an instrumental arrangement/some kind of 'karaoke' version in the beginning with guitar and lead motive and then a small part with words?

RE: Vincent's FS. Muse has other songs -- I actually like Duhamel and Radford's Muse program cause they use multiple songs and none of them were Exogenesis.

But I'm willing to give Vincent's program a chance. I didn't really love Moulin Rouge for him but he pulled it off at Nationals/Olympics.

Okay - this version I'll buy for Alexa and Chris - it's got a completely different vibe IMO than the original - it's much more soft and sad

I wish Morgan and Vanessa were doing the original tho - that sultryness fits them perfectly
