Whew this has been a day of marathon figure skating watching, but here I am again. We need to add a fourth place to the podium :drama:

Not 100% clean, but no falls. Not a bad way to start the competition. I don't care much for the music nor the program though...

Unfortunately I have to watch without sound, so please no splatfests...

tabsy, we are in the same boat! It feels like I'm missing out, but it is kind of interesting to watch without sound. You really notice the synchrony and skating skills!

It's definitely interesting! Elements look okay, but the general skating seems much slower...

At least there was a gap between Japan and Russia today, in which I could make my dinner without missing anything.

It would have been so much better if they had done the same yesterday.

Yesterday, I stayed with Japan and attempted to play catch-up afterwards (making dinner in between routines), but the stream was removed when I had only just started watching the final group of the Ladies.

So annoying!

Thankfully, I was able to watch the videos of the skaters I missed over breakfast this morning before the Japanese Men's SP started.

At least TAT stays quiet throughout the program, so I can just mute her when they finish skating.

Not Ksenia Akhanteva's day for jumps.

Because these were consequtive comments, I just noticed something.

You two have practically the same avatar, only with different skaters!

The only difference in the poses is that Satoko has her hands facing upwards, whereas Yuna has her hands facing down.

Oh right, the SP was abnormally clean and this is the usual state. Wonder if the Euler was underrotated again.

Not K/I's best skate. If M/G skate solidly they will be establishing themselves as #1 Junior....
