These French short programs are on opposite ends of the spectrum, yet somehow both quintessentially French

LOL. The French skaters are always so delightfully askew in their own unique ways. It's a good thing.

Loved Kevin's step sequence. Very enjoyable performance.

And Kevin's coaches are looking effortlessly chic today.

See, we are soulmates. I remember bonding over Kailani’s FS dress from last year!

(Izzard was very impressive live, but my city actually traumatized John Oliver by helpfully correcting him whenever he misspoke rather than booing, and he said he was going to have nightmares about us. “No, they don’t HECKLE, they HELP.”)

Keiji has never done it for me, alas, but this is... cleaner than normal? Although that’s a lot of negative GOE, yikes.
