The trick to wearing yellow is not to wear it near your face. I had a strapless yellow sundress I’d wear with a teal summer cardigan and it was FANTASTIC.

(I actually think the pants highlight how long his legs are by breaking up the body line, which wouldn’t have the same effect if they were a dark colour given the top. And purple + yellow is a workable colour combo.)
