Is this a joke? Did she get in trouble for hosting a party?Hosting super-spreader birthday parties.
That's her thing. We all have something we excel atHosting super-spreader birthday parties.
Her birthday party was held shortly after Rostelecom and featured guests including Dmitri Aliev, in attendance at that event, leading to more reported infections. Is this a joke? Did she get in trouble for hosting a party?
As far as I know, she hasn't competed since she got married to figure skater Anton Shulepov in April 2019. But there has been no official announcement of retirement yet. This is waaay off topic but, I was just watching Alena Leonova's 2012 SP and it makes me wonder what she is up to these days. LOL! And there I got the chance to promote Talalaikina's free program again! She's always been quite tall, I wouldn't certainly call her tiny..At least I never noticed any sudden growth spurt..

I think she might work with the Rukavicin girls? (Nugumanova, Gubanova, Talalaikina). She has choreographed Maria Talalaikina's magnificent Maleficent program this season, and she was spotted in the K&C with Gubanova at a Saint Petersburg competition earlier this season.

Re: backloading, it's just another thing that stacks up. We see how Anna was able to eat into Liza's base value in the short program by doing backloaded 3Lz-3Lox vs. Liza's 3Lz-3T. Yes, Liza's 3A got 5.5 points more than Anna's 2A, but Anna's combo got 2.37 more than Liza's - that's erasing more than 1/2 of the 3A advantage. Both the loop combo and the backloading individually barely do anything but combined, and with Anna's advantage in the spins, the gap vanishes completely. How can you possibly get a 2pts difference ? For instance, she gets that 10% backloading bonus on 3F instead of 3Lz-3Lo. I don't understand your numbers.
Daria Sadkova will be also narrowly junior eligible for the 2021-22 season.New Topic: Next year JGP?
Sviridenko's recent 200+ showing has complicated things. It's highly likely that these girls will get a JGP assignment (and a second one if they deliver):
Since Russia is hosting a JGP next season and can send three there, that means at least three more girls from this list will get a chance:
- Akatieva
- Petrosyan
- Muravyeva
- Samodelkina
- Berestovskaya
Here is where it gets interesting. By nationals order, it should be Frolova, Osokina, and Paramanova. But, will Frolova be given a third season like Tarakanova and Konstantinova, or will she be banished to the Russian Cup? Zhilina and Dmitrieva with their Ultra-C elements, and now Sviridenko even without Ultra-C elements, can show up at an early competition next season like Kostornaia at Moscow Open in 17-18 and show their scoring potential.
- Frolova
- Osokina
- Paramanova
- Sviridenko
- Zhilina
- Dmitrieva
Unfortunately with the arrival of Dvoeglazova, Gordeeva, and others in 22-23, there is too much depth to just say "oh they'll get a chance next year." This is a make-or-break moment for the careers of these girls! Good luck to all and I wish there were more spots.
Yes, and I think Alina Gorbachova has been impressive when fit. Zhilina and Dmitrieva really failed to impress this season though.Daria Sadkova will be also narrowly junior eligible for the 2021-22 season.
The 3A BV advantage is 4.7. Anna's 3Lo is worth 0.7 more than 3T. And the backloading difference is 1.08 vs 0.53, so 0.55. Actually Anna only removes 1.25 of the 3A advantage through TES. And the actual advantage Liza has is more than 4.7 because of 3A GOE. Even if Anna didn't backload her combination she would STILL have scored higher than Liza at both Worlds and WTT. The main way Anna makes up the difference is quality of elements and PCS.Re: backloading, it's just another thing that stacks up. Still UR and close to Downgrade, as well as a step-out. But good to see her trying. I was predicting an attempt, should have said it!Alyona did it again... 3A
what? where?Alyona did it again... 3A
The main thing is that after the transition to Eteri, progress is visible. I'm starting to think that with Esteri is starting to jump everything that gets to the her rink.Still UR and close to Downgrade, as well as a step-out. But good to see her trying.
