Can't lie, I'm happy about this. It might be working for Sasha, but after how everything was handled with Aliona I'm glad Eteri took her back. It might be still too late, but at the very least I think she'll be brought to the maximum form she can have.

I was watching Cup Final and the performances are still there, her second 4T is waay better than Akatieva's 4T in height, speed, air position, distance and even the transitions in.

But the scores are not, i mean she got beated by Petrosyan in the free who was way worse (i'll give Adeliya the higher components tho) and had no ultra-si elements, you can't have a clearer message than that from the Federation.

So while i'm absolutely against this behaviour from judges, i feel bad for the girl who is matching the top junior girl in Russia in technical contents and yet she'll never see the rewards.

Either she'll manage to be extremely consistent and get results abroad and fight for her current position (but we saw with Tuktamysheva these years how shady this is, it'll be a constant fight for recognition) or she'll have to go back eventually or find another way which no one has found yet.

For his standards, Plushenko was very classy in his interview compared to anything I ever expected.

So they brought back her old coach Elena Zhgun to help, and Tchaikovskaia was worried about her too (maybe helping as well). The way he talks about her needing to pay "serious attention to her health" scares me. Aliona won't reveal it, but please stay safe.

yeah and props for calling out the articles, cause they made it seem like it was already a done deal.

I do hope she'll return tho, it didn't work for her, the injury and covid also big factors. But even the programs i didn't love.

They should have kept the Billie Eillish short, it was brave and a new look for her, while the long was a little uninspired, i expected a bit more from Shae-Lynn, although understandable the challenge on choreographing via Skype.
