I don’t know which comment you were talking about, but my comment saying that none of us are insiders at Team Tutberidze and that I was just saying my impression is not here anymore.

I’ll post it again, anyways, cause I’m against blind censorship - you there, the ones who say Rozanov was unimportant for Team Tutberidze - are you insiders at Sambo70?

Do you attend their practices?

Do you know any of the people who train/work there in person?

So how can you so vehemently say what we’re saying is not true?

I mean, I have no idea if it is or not, but neither do you.

Get over it, Team Tutberidze is not flawless.
Why I personally think Rozanov's been quite important is pretty simple.

The skaters change very quickly upon joining Team Tutberidze, especially the jumping technique. Joining team Tutberidze in the spring -> already in competitions of the next fall, their jumps are completely different.

What else? Older skaters who weren't training with Rozanov(Medvedeva, Zagitova etc.) didn't have - and still don't have - this different way of jumping.

That actually is the reason I think Rozanov's been quite important, because otherwise - if this was Dudakov's work - someone like Zagitova would jump the way all the younger ones jump as well.

Also, the younger skaters have quickly become much better at performing with Team Tutberidze. And I again assume this is Rozanov's work.

I guess we'll have many of our questions answered soon enough. With Corona willing.
I wonder what would coaches think of almost 11yo girl without triples nowadays? "Zero prospect"?

Essentially she would belong to the same age group as the 2009s and older from this past season. Essentially, it would be hopeless with that content. She wouldn't even place within top 20 for Moscow qualifiers.

Currently, it's a shame that skaters like this who get their jumps slower might not be able to get the opportunities that they once could.

I heard Girl on the Ball was a concept from an Averbukh show... I got really disappointed.
Yes, Averbukh had a program that began with a girl on a ball. Not the good program. Music and choreography were other than in the Valieva's program.

BTW, Averbukh had a program with Me Voy music in the same(?) show.

Can you show me Aver's program? Or how can I find that? I adore Kamilla's version so I'm curious about it.

No JGP, I fear no other international novices/juniors events either. Can we expect scaling back of junior skating outside of the state schools?

Even FFKKR might scale back its program given the uncertainties over senior season and coming Olympics.

The program was bad. You can find it on youtube. Year 2010. Keywords: арзамасова ставиский шоу "Лед и пламень".

Kamila needs to compete against the top Russian girls with no junior season. The girl won't even get a chance to defend her World Junior title. :(

Just thinking about what's going on in the world with this pandemic and sports running for cover Alina Zagitova may be the defending and reigning Olympic and World Champion for a long time.

I have seen it. First of all thank you for Stavisky. I was a fan of him. Well, I don't think that is a bad program for the show. The lady is not skater, thus I believe it was big task to skate for her. But I couldn't recognize the music...

Valieva’s is better, I just pointed out the original idea was Averbukh’s.

Anyone know if Russian junior test skates are still happening? If so, when?

I was just thinking about this last night! We are 2 weeks out from August and they usually take place in early August. I wonder if they will be pushed back now that the JGP was cancelled and skaters haven’t been training for as long?

As Goethe said once, the fact that someone has painted a rose in the past doesn't mean nobody else can do it as well.

I never said they couldn’t. I just thought it was a brilliant idea when I first watched Kamila’s program, and I felt a little bit let down that someone had already done something similar before, but in no way Eteri loses credit, as she took the idea to a whole other level.

Well, you were a little loud about "disappointment". Though taken seriously, we would be out of the subjects of the programs very fast if the ideas couldn't be used again :)

(BTW just as a mere side note, even copyright regulations count with that, idea itself, subject, process etc. can't be copyrighted.)

Yeah, disappointment was a strong word. I not always get the nuances of English as I’m not a native speaker.

FFKKR I believe already has announced plans to introduce a fully competitive internal series of competitions.

But since their website still doesn't have the supposedly definite 2020/21 team selection, they haven't yet published a proposed calendar of events either.

First Test Skates, if there is still a need for those when senior GP also gets cancelled? Open to the public and media??

Everything is still up in the air it seems ...

She didn't even have double axel. What an amazing workload she'd gone through within a year, if she won Russian Younger Age in March 2016!
