Wow, Polina is beautiful technically. I hope she can teach her technique at Sambo70. That’s a very good addition to the team, I’m really enthusiastic to see her work with them.

Three new people to replace ONE Rozanov. Hot Sergey really has to be an amazing guy.
Probably more like they've learned that having 1 coach mainly handle a segment of of skaters that it makes that coach more alluring to other skating schools if their skaters show good results and more likely that if that coach leaves that skaters will follow - a coaching team probably makes it less attractive for another skating school to go after 1 of the coaches because are they sure they are bringing the 1 coach that can bring their skating school the results that they go at Sambo. Additionally, it makes it easier for the skaters at Sambo if 1 of those coaches do leave because they have multiple coaches they've been working with.

I wonder if Osokina will try to get to Nationals, since her 14th birthday will be a few days before them.

I thought the same, and in her interview didn't she say that she did not want to be a coach? huh
Well she was 18 when she retired from competitive skating, 18 year olds change their minds all the time and it could be something as simple as that its a job that she's doing to make money till she finishes university and can go about a different career.

Maybe she can do both coaching and University.
At least Plushenko did not get Polina as a coach.

Been rewatching Osokina‘s programs from test skates on loop for the past few days. Which also made me realise how much I miss Tarakanova - but the Tarakanova of 2017-18. I appreciated the effort of making her a little more refined but at the same time - it sometimes felt like they were pressing her in a box of what “skating should be like“, taking away her uniqueness. Liza and Nastya both have this kind of raw energy you can‘t teach. I hope they develop Liza without taking away hers and I also hope Nastya somehow finds hers again.
I wonder all the time how Nastya‘s career might look like had she done just a little better at Junior Nationals. She could be a two time World Junior medalist by now.

If she left outside the transfer window - does this explain why she wasn‘t at the test skates? I only vaguely remember her name but she did pretty well at Junior (senior too?) Nats last season, didn‘t she?
Considering right now she's not age-eligible for the Olympics in 2022 and she's not showing any quads or a triple axel she should stick to Junior nationals where she will have a stronger shot at the podium.
Can't she attend both competitions?

But if she try’s to qualify to senior nats and misses the mark then she can’t try to qualify to junior nats and will be left without a nationals to skate at. Imo it would be too risky since she is too young for 2022.
I believe she can do both, but given the competition level in seniors and the fact as of right now we don't see that she's got a triple axel or a quad she would likely struggle to make it in the top 10 at seniors. Given that and the fact she doesn't need to start gaining senior experience for possibly a shot at the 2022 Olympics, in my eyes it would probably do her better to stick with juniors where she can likely place very well and avoid the stress of seniors until she's more capable of competing for top 5 or the podium.

Juniors can compete maximum 2 times before nationals (for safety reasons I think), so, from what I understood, senior eligible juniors have to choose to either commit to senior or junior cup stages. If for example, Shulskaya skates at senior cup stages and doesn’t make it to SrNats, she eliminates herself from JrNats as well.

And this is what your second comment replied to so I'm not sure how else to see it, but thank you for clearing up the ambiguity. Honestly I don't get why there is even a discussion about 20/30 programs created in 2 months as I don't think anyone else but you has said this? I think the discussion is only about one program and that is Daria's RJ free-skate, but I hope we can agree that it is possible that this program was created during the off-season.
People's opinions on this issue I believe are completely dependent on whether or not Eteri/Daniil knew Sasha was skating to this selection (and I mean before it was announced to us by Plushenko), but I don't know if we will ever find out. Good luck to both Sasha and Daria!

Well, this is confusing. I assumed that Kamila would do the Senior Russian Cup as she skates at senior test skates, after all. But does this mean she won‘t compete at Junior Nationals at all? Or will there be an exception for her? And what about Daria and Maiia and the others? They‘re theoretically old enough to do both Senior and Junior Nationals...
