Wow, Polina is beautiful technically. I hope she can teach her technique at Sambo70. That’s a very good addition to the team, I’m really enthusiastic to see her work with them.

good luck to the new coaches at Sambo 70.Team Tutberidze posted this on their Instagram today: https://www.instagram.com/p/CEL6fOXJvMa/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
It welcomes 3 new young coaches to the team: Artemiy Punin, Georgiy Pokhilyuk and Polina Tsurskaya :luv17:.
So, Polya is back to Sambo-70. Hope she (and the guys) will make a great coach and cannot wait to see her at boards with her students.

Three new people to replace ONE Rozanov. Hot Sergey really has to be an amazing guy.

Is Osokina the same age as Samodelkina?
I wonder if Osokina will try to get to Nationals, since her 14th birthday will be a few days before them.Osokina 18 Dec 2006

I thought Polina went off to University? Now all we need is the other Polina to come back too.![]()
I thought the same, and in her interview didn't she say that she did not want to be a coach? huh
Maybe she can do both coaching and University.I thought the same, and in her interview didn't she say that she did not want to be a coach? huh

Sorry, if this news was already here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CD29KfwKntV/ - Lera Schulskaya trains at AoP.

Considering right now she's not age-eligible for the Olympics in 2022 and she's not showing any quads or a triple axel she should stick to Junior nationals where she will have a stronger shot at the podium.
But if she try’s to qualify to senior nats and misses the mark then she can’t try to qualify to junior nats and will be left without a nationals to skate at. Imo it would be too risky since she is too young for 2022.Can't she attend both competitions?

I mean, the first words are literally "programs are not created from scratch just in May/June (or generally just during the off-season) unless there is an emergency situation"If that sounds to you that I want to say that every program any time is created during the whole year, or that it's impossible to do a program just during the off.season, than that's not what I wanted to say and I'm sorry for expressing myself badly. My point was that I can't imagine it is possible to create so many programs in such a short term, so "the whole year's work" was related to all the work on programs in the team. Iain't no choreographer but I can imagine that during the year I would listen every possible music to consider whether it is suitable for a program, gathering other sources of inspiration (books, movies, other art), then when I get the idea "this is a good music" or this is a good idea as a theme for the program, I would start with the ideas how to make a program for it and also for which skater this would be ideal. Is this OK?

Juniors can compete maximum 2 times before nationals (for safety reasons I think), so, from what I understood, senior eligible juniors have to choose to either commit to senior or junior cup stages. If for example, Shulskaya skates at senior cup stages and doesn’t make it to SrNats, she eliminates herself from JrNats as well.
