Also Stasya and Anya Frolova were pretty underscored too. The former definitely had URs, but still, her performance was pretty great.

Eh I don't have any theories about RusFed or Eteri or whatever else. I think just from last season she's been riding on the hype of her admittedly good (but junior) presentation, and it's continuing here. When you project that kind of image, it follows you, and the judges eat it up. Could still be politics, of course.

There are like only 4s and 5s on Kami's protocol lmao.
Also, I think her skating is great and there is a lot to love there but giving 10s in PCS to a fourteen year old junior just feels odd. Especially considering that she does have quite a bit to work on in the performance category.

Apparently Sasha has a lip, but Daria doesn't have a flutz.....ok.....
And right here is the problem. Trusova having 3A doesnt guarantee her a win. Skating is more than just jumps.
there are 3 jumping and 4 non-jumping elements that a skater needs to perform beautifully.

Actually she didn't. Her international maximum for the SP is 74.95, today she got 75.77.

once again the panel is out in full force calling everything on everyone except Eteri’s people. What a joke

Absolutely, I think Valieva leading is fine, but not by 10 points. However, the technical calling just like in the past competition was strict for all non-Eteri skaters while giving passes to Daria and the judges gave insane GOE and PCS to Kamilia. Kamilia leading is fair, but by 10 points, no.

Yes, that is absolutely true. But the other jumping elements were performed beautifully, her layback and step sequence were good too. No one is saying that Sasha should've won the SP (most people are admitting that Dasha and Kami ought to have been ahead of her), but we are saying that those scores don't reflect the performance. Spin bonuses aside they still would've scored 82 and 77, with Kami getting only 4s and 5s even on a flawed jump and PCS that are way too high even for someone like Kostornaia, and Dasha's flutz going completely unnoticed.
I think the point is that this happened in a national competition with a 3A (though a bad one). I can agree to that. No conspiracy theories from me though.
