Fine. But that's not what the poster was talking about. Contracts and negotiations are going on now hence why they mentioned Anna as being the priority now.

Obviously they'll focus on everyone next year. That's irrelevant to the subject at hand which was making the decision for Alena's transfer - which will obviously be decided BEFORE next season - and therefore the potential impacts (of her negotiations NOW) on Anna's training and their focus.

(Reading comprehension is helpful.)
i don't agree with the possible sentiments of this complicating Anna's training in any way shape or form, but obviously we can agree to disagree. i'm not going to go back and forth any more.

Plushenko says there are no contractual obligations, neither with the academy nor the sponsors. So, either he is lying or TeamTutberidze used it as an excuse/explanation not to take Aliona back. Or there is another issue entirely - but which? Aliona‘s officially still with Sambo70, there should be no problem. But maybe I am missing something.
He turned down any help for Sakhanovich, who was surviving on instant porridge and powdered coffee, but gave it all for free for Aliona. Right.

Yana just gave an interview, saying that they’re discussing contracts with Aliona and her mom at the moment, and that the conversation is “not pleasant for both sides”, her whole legal department is involved, since they are responsible for contracts.

She should’ve read her hubby’s comment first.

I don't either, for the record.

I think they won't let anything interfere with Anna and her training right now.

That wasn't the point though.

:drama: :palmf:

Mishin said they are going to increase the difficulty for worlds. Liza may surprise us landing a quad why not
I know.

However, we were comparing their current conditions at the Cup Final. The point was the Liza T wasn't at her peak either.

What Liza does at World's isn't really relevant. (Although I very much hope she regains the 4T and is closer to her peak there. I hope the same for Anna and Sasha!!)

yikes. does Plushenko even know his own academy's legal stipulations or is he just flat out lying?

At least domestically judges don't particularly agree, 1 tiny error by Tuktamysheva and Kostornaia would have likely beaten her without a triple axel.
She still beat Alena two times in a raw but I agree, it’s domestic competitions, both girls would be judged differently on international event.

THERE'S the Russian drama we all knew was coming. :coffee::coffee::popcorn:

those 2 times she won against an Aliona who was no where near healthy or fit, and had no triple axels. and the first time wasn't by much.

if they are both healthy like in 19/20 Liza can't beat her.

Okay, first of all Rostelecom WAS domestic judges.

Second of all, Liza T wasn't clean. She had a super wonky 3F in the SP and a wonky 3A in the FS. (Alena was pretty clean in the SP but had underrotation issues in the FS.)

Also the domestic judges didn't hesitate to put Liza T ahead in the Cup Final. Yes Alena wasn't even close to form. But Liza T was also recovering too.

Alena had about a 5 point PCS advantage over both programs at Rostelecom. By the CupFinal that had eroded completely and Liza T was actually ahead by about a point over both programs. (They were pretty much tied in the SP.) PCS are a good indicator of political favour haha.

She says “contracts are a responsibility of lawyers, not me or Evgeniy, he’s a coach” and that they “have a big legal team that deals with these questions”.

Though I have a hard time believing he was had 0 clue that Aliona has some legal obligations.

So basically Rudkovskaya confirms Eteri and Daniil's POV... This will be messy.
