2020-21 Russian Nationals: Ladies' Free Skate

Among the sea of busy transitions and hectic programs, Frolova has a very calming presence to her skating. I used to find it boring but it‘s growing on me. She also has a nice way of covering up slightly off landings with quick transitions. And she was clean! Very nice.

It won‘t be enough to beat the big guns because she’d need something extra special for that but she did what she could.

Her name is pronounced Fralova?
How can I tell which 'o' is pronounced as 'a'? Is there a cheat sheet?
Yeah, the rule is that O turns into A when there is no emphasis on the O. But where the emphasis falls you can only really understand fully if you are a born Russian speaker. I still struggle with it a lot and I've spoken Russian for years. The same goes for when E is actually E with dots (Ё) and thus pronounced "yo". They do not tend to write that letter out like ever.
