This!! I agree, not every ladies R&J program has to have them skating “as” Juliet.

No they don't but they still got to try and feel the music and match the mood. Trusova doesn't do any of that. She robotically speeds her way from one thing to the next. Her movements have zero connection with the music playing. It shows badly in the SP

Yeah, I get what you’re saying. I’m not going to say she’s Carolina Kostner, but Sasha is making improvements from the last time we saw her (IMO). Also this is her first competition of the season, so we will see how well she can grow into this program. I think she’s trying though and for that I actually enjoyed her skate today (and her short yesterday).
