I was following these message boards for many months before I wandered into the competition thread, where I discovered the good humor and gracious attitudes that the rarest things on all of the internet. I was finally motivated to register for the primary purpose of saying thanks for adding so much to my enjoyment of this sport.

I second these appreciative greetings! I also read GSF for years, then finally registered two years ago but was quickly turned off posting by the bickering in some threads. This season I discovered the competition forum and I really love the supportive tone here and enjoy all your comments during the competitions a lot.
