Nerves got to her i think. her dress is dreadful but i like her choreo and her skills are undisputed. will her mistakes cost her the gold?

However, it seems to me that this is not her style. As if she's too shy and innocent for the great Bolero.

I like the choreo move in the beginning with her arms, it‘s really unique. I always wonder how she manages to bend them like that. Otherwise I fear, she looked a bit scared today. Still brilliant lines but she was off the music most of the time

Welp, I always give skaters three competitions before I make a final judgement. My final judgement is this: Valieva does nothing for me. Her spins are the only things I find exceptional about her. Her jumps (save for the 4T) look like they’ve been beaten with an ugly stick and she has no connection to music and zero expression.

I think she started off well, in terms of her performance, and then she seemed to get tired halfway through and lost her connection to the music and intentions in her movements. It's an improvement over test skates, but I do think the program's still a little bit of a mess and it'll take some time to master it.
