This is a MUCH better program for Young than what she’s had the last few seasons, which is a relief. Triple axel wasn’t there today but she’s landed it before and she will again. Combo was almost an issue, good for her for gritting it out.

Not good from Young You. I would like her program if someone else was skating to it. The step sequence could be gorgeous, but I’m not sure she has the musicality to pull it off. I’m also a bit surprised she almost missed the combo. Good on her for sticking it out.

And yes, Ashley Lin competed on behalf of the US and was even sent to some junior Grand Prix events.

Love Young You music, not keen on the choreography. Still I sit her on the fence , I don't dislike her, but I don't love her style either. Had some nice moments though.
