Maxim still skates young (and I mean this in the most complimentary way). Definitely young generation coming up.

Naumov was too hesitant going in; it’s why he fell. There’s some good choreography in his program, though. I like it a lot.

Max's skate was fun. I enjoy watching him.

Vincent was great. When he skates like this, it's wonderful to watch. But there's no excuse for him going to Worlds if he knew he was nursing an injury. Certainly, if Vincent can maintain this type of form over the next few months, U.S. fed will send him to Nebelhorn over Yaro, regardless of what Yaro does.

Yes! A split jump! If we can't have Jason, we'll take Tomoki's insane acrobatics. A real shame about the fall, but he recovered nicely.

Tomoki skates to interesting music. Not the run of the mill. I like that.

Watching it this close, Tomoki needs height. He rotates crazy fast but needs height to have time to land his quads. Man, I want him to do great on the LP

It's such a shame a lot of the US men are so inconsistent. A lot of them have so much potential, but just can never deliver.
