Pooja withdrew and Tara has a different skating style and body frame…That was interesting.. I don't think I've seen her before.. first I thouth it was Pooja..
She gave me Wakaba vibes with her program full of energy and joy.

Very easy-looking, clean 2A
Clean skate, yay! Maybe it was a good decision to not risk with 3A on the first 'serious' event of season, especially with competition of Mariah and Amber.

Okay, I LOVE this program for Alysa. It's fun, she matches its energy, but still has a maturity about it. I suspect her coaches are continuing to work with her on really hitting on the musical accents, especially in the step sequence, but I think she can get there. I continue to be impressed by the improvements she's made since I first saw her in...2018 I think?...on all parts of her skating.

Gracie has such a beautifully constructed SP. I hope we get to see it clean at some point this season.
