2021 Cup of Austria: Junior Events

Boys, but "Danse Macabre" isn't used often enough nowadays.

That was a really enjoyable programme from Katinka ZSEMBERY.

Unfortuantely, she had 2 falls. And goes into 7th, about 4 points behind 6th, and half a point ahead of 8th.

I have a feeling we may have a cactus on our hands.

The camera work was a bit, erm, off axis. But, it was the first skater of the event to be filmed. I'm sure it will improve as we go on.

Right, during the resurfacing, I had a look at the chat on the stream, and the person doing the streaming was responding to questions.

They were actually set up somewhere else on the rink, but had to move to get a better internet signal. So, that was why it was not the most stable filming going on for the first skater.

The stream has now ended. But, hopefully a new one will fire up for the final group.

Looks like we missed a cracking skate from #14 Varvara KISEL (BLR), who has gone into 3rd place despite a fall.

Fatma Yade KARLIKLI, who was the first skater we saw on the new stream, skated clean and has slotted into 10th place, just 0.43 points behind her Turkish team-mate Anna Deniz OZDEMIR.

Hang on, we're onto the Group 4 Warm-Up. So, I must have mis-counted where we were.

No, it was Ina JUNGMANN that we just saw. She has gone into 6th position, 3 points behind her GErman team-mate Olesya RAY.

The final skater of Goup 3, Marie-Dorothee KRALER (AUT), must have withdrawn.

Yep, the livescoring page has just updated and removed her.

Right, that is where I have to leave it for my tea. All the best to everybody that is still to come.

But, I'm going to play catch-up on Group 4 before watching Group 5.

But, this weekend is not just the final MotoGP round of the season; it is also the final round of my favourite rider's career. So, I will be concentrating on the bikes (but I will be returning to Graz when the bikes are over!)

According to the timetable, the Junior Pairs should have started 5 minutes ago. But, the stream is stuck on a loop. So, I don't know what is going on.

Have they decided to delay the Juniors, so that we can have the Juniors and Seniors skating in back-to-back groups?
