Such a pit about the fall on the Lutz. Because the rest of it was just exquisite.
I don't know what else I can say. I just love everything about this programme.
9th? NINTH?!
No!
I know she had a fall, but it was better than that!
Even though I'm not a happy bunny with the scoring, Marilena and her coach seemed happy enough.
Now, time to move on and focus on the Free Skate, which I also absolutely love!

Ah. I am useless at noticing things like that. (I can just about identify some spins, but that is about it). So, thank you for the explanation.
And I agree that she will have a good shot of making up for it tomorrow. Because her FS is even better than the SP.
For most of my children, I only like one of their programmes for this season. But for Marilena, I absolutely love both of them.

When I see that I blame the coaching team. Even skaters who are not great at spins or Step Seq (Trusova for example) the coaches make sure they are getting level 3 and 4. They also hammered her on PCS which seems unfair. (25)

LOL, i´m quoting myself, just to inform myself that I certainly will not watch ice dance today, because rhythm dance is starting tomorrowYou have my respect. One weekend my game was strong and I had 3 screens, one on TV, my computer and a tabletLOL, I think I went to hard om myself because never again!
I slept really bad tonight so I have a hard time even watching this competition. So I stick with only this competition and I probably going to skip out on ice dance today and only watch men and pairs to save myself. Tomorrow is going to be really hard with GP also

More importantly, what did Radiohead do to that singer to make her record such an awful cover?!
Hard to believe that a programme to that awful cover scored only 0.66 points less than a "Moonlight Sonata" programme.

How did Shabotova get so close to 60 points with that 3A fall? Didn´t she get called? It looked very much UR... grrr this judging I can´t

Makes a change to watching adverts for jeans.

In what way? She did not have the strongest layout. 3F-3T early, her solo jump only 3Lo which she fell on. When Gubanova skates cleanish with 3F-3T and 3Lz as solo jump I don´t see how Alina magically is going to score higher then her. I think the marks are ok for this skate and layout, problem is the judging is all over the place in this event and there are over- and underscoring.

PCS Should have at least been in the 28/29 range, but a point under Lindsay? Alina skates with a great deal of speed and polish at this point, all spins except the layback were great, Step Seq good enough, jumps except loop very strong and confident. I wonder if a message is being sent that of the two Russians, Gubanova is preferred for the Oly spot. I do feel she was low balled for what she put out on the ice today.
