She wrote something on Instagram about how it was supposed to be a good work day, and then this happened. So, likely it's an injury sustained during practice indeed.

Athlete can break ones jaw in a failed chin-up. I have No idea is it usual practice by skaters, but sometimes this is the reason in other sports.

The good: Shcherbakova and Khromykh are back on the ice.

The bad: Kozlovsky got a minor injury so they won't be at test skates this weekend

The ugly: Tuktamysheva is sick...and at this point is still going to test skates

Hopefully its just bad allergies or a cold but its really dumb to do test skates when she's sick, she just did st. Petersburg test skates like 2 weeks ago. Its not a competition

Muravyeva has a leg injury not withdrawing
Valieva either has or had some type of injury
...maybe they should have delayed test skates at least for the ladies considering most of their national team is dealing with some level of injury.

He and partner Maria Chernyshova are due to appear at NHK Trophy, but this might unfortunately be unlikely now.
