More from Novogorsk, incl. Sasha now:
Because she is not there.I don't see Anna there....
I don't see Anna there....
Anya has already announced that she is joining the team at Novogorsk soonShcherbakova is/was doing her Unified state exams (finished with those?). And she missed a month of summer camp last year with her toe injury - last season went pretty well for her so maybe she's sticking with training at Crystal and not doing training camp.

That's the 1st I heard of this.Just a food for thought. IJF, International Judo Federation, announced that they won't discriminate anyone and Russians/Belarussians can attend international competitions (as neutral athletes). Inspiration, ISU?
I wonder if there's any other sport where there is still such discrimination based on sex (not to mention score multipliers). It's like saying hey, you are just women, you can't do the same things as strong men do! But in fact it's more like saying we have to keep Russian women caged... Oh, wait, they banned them anyway...But it's funny how they never added one quad to the short program for the ladies isn't it? It's pretty obvious doing that would help the top skaters in only one country Russia. Meaning the competition scores for Sasha Anna and KV would be even more massive advantages for Russia over the rest of the world if they were allowed to do a quad in the SP and obviously they should be. Can you imagine KV with a triple axel and a quad in the SP like the men are allowed? She would be getting to 100 points or close to it.
To further protect the sport and fair competition, the ISU should ban ladies whose name ends with the letter "a" from participating in any international tournament. After all, it is clearly seen that this letter creates an unjustified advantage. And for a more complete guarantee, it is probably necessary to ban those whose names begin with this dishonest letter.I wonder if there's any other sport where there is still such discrimination based on sex (not to mention score multipliers). I think they’ll allow skaters back in time for the word championships anyway since it’s in Japan and there will be little Russophobia. That's the 1st I heard of this.
It's a good news but we need to stop this neutral stuff. Russians played tennis at the French open along with lieutenant players from Belarus with no problems or they play hockey with no problems they will figure skate with no problems but the ISU doesn't care. Have you ever heard them say anything decent about any skater from Russia?
But what about GP/JGP series. Without Russians, and considering the amount of retirements, it will be a bad circus.I think they’ll allow skaters back in time for the word championships anyway since it’s in Japan and there will be little Russophobia.
This is just about stretching it out now so the ISU doesn’t lose face by backtracking.
No doubt they will gleefully off 1 spot to the Russian ladies even though 7 of the best 8 in the world are Russian.
Judo is a gentlemens' sport, I'm not surprised. I doubt any of them would say things like “I think I deserved Olympic gold with my performance.”Just a food for thought. Do not cause storm here...Judo is a gentlemens' sport, I'm not surprised. I doubt any of them would say things like “I think I deserved Olympic gold with my performance.”
