This year the ice dance marks are all over the place. It feels like the judges are not really sure how to interpret the new rules. It is highly unusual for an ice dance team to go up or down 12 points in a couple of weeks. It will be really interesting to see what they do with the two Canadian teams.

I wouldn't eat beets on a silver platter for a lot of money.

I thought Wolfkostin and Chen were great... I loved them. Their score was on par with what Pate/Bye and McNamara/Spiridov got at the US Classic and close to Green and Parsons's score too from Finlandia (which was disappointing). Browns score is concerning. I think they keep losing levels. Their PCS isn't that far off.
