I feel a bit too sleepy to watch live but I would feel like a disloyal ice dance fan if I didn't at least try.

Battle of the Dutchies coming up now.

First up are Chelsea and Sherim, to be swiftly followed by Hanna and Alessio.

Currently 2.03 points separating them.

With Hanna and Alessio's Japanese theme, it's a pity that it was the Juniors rather than the Seniors that had the Japanese inserts!

It never ceases to amaze me how well matched these two partnerships always are. I would hate to have to choose between them for international slots.

Hanna and Alessio lead Chelsea and Sherin in the FS by 3.60 points, which increases their overall lead to 5.63 points.

Erm, I take it Elise didn't realise that there was a camera right beside her when she was adjusting her dress before they got introduced. You can just imagine the panic as the production team rushed to put the name graphic up early just in case we got an eyeful. (They needn't have worried).

They got out of sync in one set of Twizzles, and then in the next set I thought Linus was going to hit the camera we were looking through! But, I think it was probably zoomed in and he was actually further away than it appeared.

I have to admit, it was not the most exciting of programmes. From the music to the costumes. But, they skated it beautifully. And that is the main thing.

They increase their lead to about 5 points.

WELL DONE ELISE AND LINUS!!!

He has gorgeous lines and feel for the music and together with his partner they skate in that avant guard french style that is always creating different shapes and lines.
