2022 Olympics Team Event Day1: Pairs Short Program

This Georgia team is good. They are ex-Russians? Russia always produces such amazing pairs. Some mistakes but they have quality.

Well they are essentially throwing away an Olympic medal, and those don't come very often.

However, with SinKats not doing their best in the RD, I would be shocked if they are not competing in the FD. Russia can't afford to lose too many events now.
The individual Pairs event doesn't start until 18 February, so they would be better off hanging back in Russia than spending two weeks in this very strange environment.

Ey boards boards boards please don't crash into the boards during a lift... phew made it through

Not a fan of the toddler piano smash at the end

That seems like a terrible idea...what if Nikita totally throws out his back and can't even finish the program? Then Russia loses any chance at a medal at all. Seems safer to put Diana and Gleb in.

I don't know his exact situation and I'm not gonna argue with what you're saying ;)

I'm just saying what I think their actions will actually be

Georgy Reviya(the male ice skater from Georgia) skated to this Moonlight Sonata music when he was still skating for Russia. I still watch that from time to time.

2015 ISU Jr. Grand Prix- Colorado Springs Free Dance Ksenia KONKINA / Georgy REVIYA RUS

SAFINA Karina / BERULAVA Luka

Secure execution with all the major elements! And quite a good lift with a nice catch position from her. He needs to work on that cannonball sit in the spin. I also have no idea what the choreography has to do with a wailing version of Moonlight Sonata. Hopefully, they can skate to something else later in their career.

Huh Liza Zhuk looks different from what I remember, maybe I'm mixing her up with another Liza, didn't her hair used to be darker?

How rude Ch 7 has decided to show more curling instead of the team event. Well there's Aussies competiting so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. :p
Thought 7plus.au was streaming all Olympic events. Not true? Waahh, it was my backup streaming plan.

I got confused because I had to reload my stream and was like “did it start over?! Why am I seeing ice resurfacing?!”

Might be a little delirious…

they won't leave the olympic bubble .. way too dangerous

Yes, Russian Fed are the champions of crummy decisions.

Oh well, ROC is not a popular team it seems, I kinda hope they don't win, just because the "Wuz robbed" will be exhausting.

In other news why I they doing the zamboni-ing after 1 group? It's really dumb, it should be after two groups?

By the way, I don't think if S\K somehow can't do the individual event Russia will have no chance at the podium,
S\B just got some very high scores at Europeans, And you know how good Russia is at transferring focus
quickly to another Russian hopeful who's surprisingly more in the mix ;):ROFLMAO:

No they are, it's just my stream is kinda blurry and I can't get it to show up on my TV so I'm watching on a small screen, whereas if I watch on TV it's in hi-def.

They're having a bit of a Mika K tribute here, first there was "White Crow" and then during resurfacing just now they played "Let's Get Loud"
