If ever there was an argument to award double Olympic gold medals, it would be for both Sui/Han and Mishina/Galliamov. Both teams are masters of their craft!

It’s so funny because I really enjoy M/G but the comparison of the two programs feels very 2002 B/S vs. S/P with the Russians having the less sophisticated short program this time. They have great charisma but the programs are not on the same level of quality.

This program is still adorable. They were very impressive. I would still give in to S/H based on PCS though. It is a different level of commitment to performance.

When you watch S/H and M/G back to back, it’s so obvious how juniorish M/G still look in comparison (And I like them a lot). Interested to see which way the judges go here.

That was very well done, but I much preferred Sui and Han's program. It was much more sophisticated and mature. Nonetheless, Mishina and Galliamov were impressive!

I think S/H will take the lead from PCS, but M/G had some really brilliant technical elements. They're both so good.

Mishina/Galliamov are just so fun to watch and their twist and jumps are SUPERB. I'd have S/H a bit ahead based on the sophistication, but it's so close. Will be an amazing battle for gold.

Those lines! I love both S/H and M/G. The only reason I want S/H to go ahead is to help USA's gold medal chances, but I think I'd give this round to the Russians.

there was an argument about awarding double olympic gold medals back in 2002... not sure we want to reinstate that one but i agree with your statement on those two teams.... love them both

That was one of the first things I noticed when they started. They skate their elements beyond their years, but the performance is very good but one-note.

They should have a good lead on M\G in PCS but they probably won't.
